Living with his family of 5, Preciliano is responsible for cultivating the land and working with his cattle. He is thankful for the opportunity to work with the project because it helps him improve his land and it has helped him financially. Through the project he is able to buy food supplies for his household. He can also afford the tools to plant his trees and keep them healthy, as well as give back to the community by creating employment. “The project has improved my life because I have learned much about the importance of trees,” says Preciliano. Moreover, he hopes that with more trees the climate will improve.
