Partnering With COTAP

From Fortune 100 companies to corner cafés, your organization can lead by example on climate change and change lives on 3 continents while engaging employees and customers. COTAP currently partners in the following ways:

Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

COTAP helps small and medium-sized businesses measure and offset your annual carbon emissions. We include a set of free tools to communicate your climate responsibility with your employees and customers, including certificates, postcard handouts, and vehicle magnets (click the below image to enlarge).

A complete suite of professional marketing tools for sharing your sustainability commitment with employees and customers.

U.S. Corporations With Donation Matching Programs

COTAP helps large U.S.-based corporations expand their leadership on climate change and leverage their existing employee donation matching program to offset their employees’ CO2 emissions as a benefit.

Event Planners (Conferences, Weddings, & Bar/Bat Mitzvahs)

COTAP helps all types of event planners with quantifying and offsetting what is often their events’ largest source of carbon pollution: attendee air travel. Check out some conferences we’ve worked with as well as our weddings page.

COTAP creates free and turnkey landing pages or “online homes” for your clients’ events. Attendees can either offset their own flights or one person can cover the cost. Either way, it’s 100% tax-deductible. For conferences, we’ll put together a custom offsetting prospectus for individuals or companies considering offsetting the conference as a donation or sponsorship.

Forestry Carbon Projects

Our forestry carbon project developer partners include the Clinton Foundation, Ecotrust Uganda, Taking Root, Envirotrade, and the Ka Synjuk Ki Hima Arliang Wah Umiam Mawphlang Welfare Society (KSKHAW-UMWS). Currently, we only partner with projects certified under the Plan Vivo carbon accounting standard. To learn more about Plan Vivo’s process and requirements, go here.
