COTAP was highlighted in the “Where to Buy?” section of a piece entitled “At South By Southwest, Carbon Offset Sellers Aim For New (And Offbeat) Buyers.” The piece originated as a PR effort by newcomer offset retailer Cool Effect’s expensive launch at South by Southwest (Déjà vu!) and also mentioned Stand for Trees and Climate Neutral Now. Not bad, considering that COTAP’s bootstrapped and the other guys are backed by those with much more money – Overlook International Foundation, USAID, and the United Nations, respectively. Yes, we’re a little bit jealous… how can you tell?!
